Tofu burger

  • 1 burger Bread

  • 60 g of tofu

  • 1 red onion

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 tomato

  • A few leaves of buttercrunch lettuce

  • A few leaves of coriander

  • 1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce

  • Lemon juice

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper


  1. Squeeze and drain the tofu, cut a slice of about 60 g. Peel and chop a red onion. Wash, seed and dice the tomato.

  2. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. Brown the tofu slice for 1 minute on each side. Add 1/4 of the minced red onion and the tomato. Let cook for 2 minutes. Pour in the barbecue sauce and continue cooking on low heat for 10 minutes.

  3. Peel and cut the avocado in half. Remove the stone and cut the flesh into strips. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Wash the lettuce leaves and coriander.

  4. Toast the hamburger bun in a toaster. Place a lettuce leaf on the base, add the tofu (cooked in the tomato sauce) then the avocado slices and the remaining red onions. Add a few coriander leaves and cover with the remaining bread.
