Our Sustainability Story
Kasa Greens is an impact-focused startup dedicated to supporting the local economy, our environment and our community through sustainable practices and measures.
We are passionate about creating awareness about healthy eating. Our mission is centred around improving nutrition and reducing the risk of certain prevalent lifestyle diseases in Nigeria.
Our microgreens are locally grown using indoor hydroponics technology powered using solar energy and lit using energy-efficient pink lights, all of which result in the use of 95-98% less water than traditional production methods.
We keep waste to a bare minimum and ensure responsible production by recycling fruit barks and leftover fruit pulps after juicing into compost which is used as a natural fertilizer for growing our microgreens.
